Editorial Standards: How We Research and Write

How We Research and Write

Every article on Resilient Wisdom is grounded in three pillars: peer-reviewed scientific research, clinical observation, and practical application. Here is how our content is developed.

Research Standards

We prioritize evidence from randomized controlled trials, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses published in peer-reviewed journals. Where we do this well, we link directly to the specific study, its journal, and its year, rather than to a general database page. We do not always hit that bar yet: an internal citation audit in September 2026 found older articles in our archive that linked to a database search page instead of a specific paper, and in some of those cases the search link itself no longer resolves. We are correcting these systematically, article by article, rather than leave the claim untested. When evidence is preliminary, emerging, or based on observational data rather than controlled trials, we say so explicitly.

Author Expertise

All content on Resilient Wisdom is written or reviewed by Vladislav Davidzon, who brings years of experience in health optimization coaching, resilience training, and men’s performance. Many of the topics covered on this site are also discussed in depth on the Resilient Wisdom Podcast, which has published over 390 episodes covering health, discipline, relationships, and personal development.

Content Development Process

Our articles go through a multi-stage development process. Research is gathered from medical databases, clinical literature, and expert interviews. Content is drafted with attention to accuracy, practical applicability, and accessibility. Each article aims to provide actionable guidance grounded in evidence — not generic health advice available on every other website.

Updates and Corrections

Health science evolves. When new evidence emerges that changes our recommendations, we update the relevant articles and note the change. If we make an error, we correct it and document the correction on our corrections page. We believe transparency about errors strengthens rather than undermines credibility.

Independence

Resilient Wisdom maintains editorial independence. Our content recommendations are not influenced by supplement companies, pharmaceutical interests, or advertising relationships. When we recommend a product or protocol, it is because the evidence supports it — not because we receive compensation for the recommendation. See our affiliate disclosure for how we handle links to books and products.

Our Commitment

We are committed to producing content that is accurate, useful, and honest about what the science does and does not support. If you have questions about our editorial standards or want to flag a potential error, please contact us.
