Green tea is a fantastic source of antioxidants and gentle caffeine, so why not pop it into a smoothie? Ripe, in-season peaches are a delightful fruit to enjoy, and we only use one between two servings to keep the carb-count down. Avocado gives our creamy basis, of course, with olive oil adding velvety texture and healthy fats.
2 green tea bags, steeped in 2 cups of boiling water overnight (discard tea bags in the morning and just add the cold tea to the blender)
1 ripe peach
1 avocado
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp ground flaxseed
Handful of ice
1
Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth
2
Pour and serve immediately
